After graduation Valeriy began his professional journey with traditional still-life. The highlight pieces are done in a Trompleuil technique where the three dimensional optical illusion is created to make objects appear real.

American 20ties and the ArtDeco for me was a natural early creative endeavor to explore because it allowed me to practice the traditional Icon painting techniques; of the board preparation, the materials and the gold leaf.

It has always been fascinating for me to see old photographs next to the new ones of exactly same historical location, to see what changed and what stayed the same. It is always an honor for me to be part of history preservation projects with writers and publishers.

Monumental
Valeriy has graduated the Fine Art program at the Surikov Art Academy with a Monumental degree that allowed him to have experience in Fresco, Murals, Stained Glass, Mosaics, and Bas-relief. This work allowed Valeriy to apply his skill into enriching local community centers, contribute to the local public art and be part of the historical sights restorations.
